Irish Horse Board Showjumping Classes at Boswell Show

Due to the cancellation of both the Ballina Show and the Tattersalls Ward Union Hunt Show because of bad weather, Boswell Show kindly accommodated the fifth leg in the series of IHB Showjumping Classes.

The qualifiers in both age categories were held on Saturday with the top twenty in each qualifier going through to Sunday’s finals. As at the other venues, €10,000 in prize money was on offer at Boswell.

In the 5 Year Old Final, Philip McManus’ Divo (ISH) ridden by David O’Brien was victorious, while Gowran Park (ISH) and Andrew Bourns took the 6/7 Year Old Final. Andrew now leads both the 5 Year Old League, with Oakport White Water (ISH), and the 6/7 Year Old League, with Gowran Park (ISH).

The Irish Horse Board would like to sincerely thank all those at Boswell Show for fitting the IHB Showjumping Classes into their schedule last weekend. The next leg in the IHB Showjumping Series will take place at Millstreet Show, which runs from 14th to 19th August.
