Irish Horse Board Showjumping Classes at Louth County Show

The first in the series of IHB Showjumping Classes took place from 28th to 29th April at Louth County Show. Entries for the 5 year old and 6/7 year old IHB classes were exceptionally good.

With €10,000 on offer, the weekend promised to give some exciting performances. Both qualifiers took place on Saturday afternoon, with the top twenty horses in each age category qualifying for Sunday’s finals. Prizes in both the qualifiers and finals were awarded from first to sixth place.

Winning the 5 year old final was Oakport White Water (ISH) and Andrew Bourns. In the 6/7 year old final Clem McMahon and Badgerhill Cruise (ISH) were victorious.

The Irish Horse Board are delighted that this series has kicked off to such a great start and would like to thank all those involved with Louth County Show for their help in running these classes.
