Irish Horse Board – Sponsoring Irish Sport Horse classes at the Galway Show

The Irish Horse Board is delighted to announce the sponsorship of a 5 year old and a 6/7 year old showjumping class at the Galway Show.

Galway Show:
The Irish Horse Board is sponsoring a 5 year old and a 6/7 year old jumping class at the Galway Show on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th June. The Horse Board are offering a generous prize fund of €7,000 for these classes. With €3,000 on offer for each of the two finals and €250 for each qualifier it is hoped a large number of entries will be attracted to the classes and that these classes will provide an opportunity to showcase young and talented Irish Sport Horses. In addition, in order to give recognition to breeders of quality Irish Sport Horses, a prize fund of €1,000 will be paid out to the breeders of the top three places horses in these classes.

Horses with the breed codes ISH, RID or ID that are registered in the IHR by a stallion approved in the Main Studbook of the IHR and with sire and dam documented on the passport are eligible for these Irish Horse Board sponsored classes.
