The sixth leg in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook Showjumping Series 2008 took place at Omagh Show, which ran from 4^th to 5^th July. There was €10,000 in prize money on offer as well as €800 in breeders’ prizes. The show is held at the Tyrone Farming Society Showgrounds and boasts an impressive set up. The surface in the main arenas was excellent, despite heavy rain during the week.

The 5 year old final saw eight horses going through to the jump off. In the end it was Mervyn Clarke Jnr. and his mare Lady Latt (ISH) that took the class, winning by almost 2 seconds after jumping clear. In the 6/7 year old final Edward Little and South Shore (ISH) were victorious, jumping double clear with a time of 36.25 in the jump off.
