The Final of the Future Event Horse League took place at the Tattersalls complex near Ratoath, Co. Meath on Saturday September 13th.

On a score of 305.4, the overall winner of the 4 year old final, went to Mr. PJ Hegarty’s chestnut mare Fenyas Elegance (ISH) ridden by Rosemary Connors. This mare also won the award for the highest placed mare in the 4 year old class. Second place in the 4 year old final went to Fergus Whelan’s Afternoon Antics (ISH) ridden by Monica Whelan.

In the 5 year old final top honours was won by Veronica White’s Killag Royal Dancer (ISH) ,ridden by Claire Lambert,  on a total score of 351.2. Second place went to Niki Potterton’s Stellor King (ISH) ridden by event rider Sarah Ennis, whilst third place and the award for the highest placed mare in the 5 year old final went to Paula Cullen’s Paulank Brockagh (ISH) ridden by Darryl Walker.

The 4 year old League winner was Mary Kehoe’s OBOS Kristoff (ISH), with Lowhill Log On (ISH) in second place and Tomgar Royal request (ISH) finishing in third place, the latter two being ridden by Katie O’Sullivan.

The five year old League winner went to Ricanga (ISH) ridden by Louise Codd, second place went to BLM Diamond Delux (ISH) owned and ridden by Sarah Ennis, whilst 3rd place went to Paulank Brockagh (ISH) ridden by Darryl Walker.
