The Guidam Spring Tour was organised by the Showjumpers Club and ran at ten venues throughout March and April, culminating in the final event at Mullingar last weekend. The idea behind the tour is to give riders the opportunity to prepare their horses for the forthcoming Grand Prix season. The tour was extremely well supported and has proven a popular way to start off the showjumping season.

The Irish Sport Horse Studbook, through Horse Sport Ireland, were delighted to support the Guidam Spring Tour, by providing prize money of €1,000 to the owner and €500 to the breeder of the highest placed eligible Irish Sport Horse throughout the league. Winning this prize money was Always Cullohill (ISH), ridden by Trevor Breen, who was both bred and is owned by James Costigan.

Tholm Keane took the League title, while Neal Fearon and Teulada (ISH) were victorious on the day.
