The second leg in the HSI Winter Tour took place at Killossery Lodge Stud last weekend, with the horse classes running on Saturday and the pony classes on Sunday. Entries were especially high on Saturday, with almost 200 horses and 100 ponies competing in the Winter Tour classes.

Riders travelled from as far afield as Galway and Monaghan to compete. Several of the Irish eventing riders also travelled to Killossery, with Ciaran Glynn winning the 1m10 class with Killossery Buddy (ISH) and Joseph Murphy taking home his share of the prize money in three classes.

Ronnie Hollinger’s chestnut mare, Creevagh Miss Jones (ISH), who has featured in many of the Irish Sport Horse Studbook classes with Delyth Collins, took the 1m20 class. On Sunday, the pony classes saw a good number of double clear rounds.
