Irish Horse Board Sponsors the Connemara Pony Show 2007
The Irish Horse Board was delighted to sponsor the Annual Connemara Pony Show which took place in Clifden on the 16th of August. The event, which boasted record entries of 550 ponies, attracted as many as 6,000 spectators from home and abroad to see a magnificent exhibition of top class Connemara Ponies.
Henry O’Toole’s home bred mare, Castle Urchin, was crowned Supreme Champion after winning the class for mares aged 8 to 9 years old, with or without foal at foot. Kingstown Dana took Reserve Champion after coming out on top of the six/seven years old mare class.
The Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society provided excellent facilities for all involved and the Irish Horse Board is delighted to have been associated with the event.
