Irish Horse Board Supporting the Galway Irish Draught Horse Society Show
Galway Racecourse, 24th September 2006

On Sunday, the Irish Horse Board were proud to support two classes at Galway Branch of the Irish Draught Horse Society’s Show. The first of these classes was the Mare Of The Future class for three and four year old fillies. Winning this prestigious class was TJ Gibbon’s mare Failte Ginger (RID). The IHB sponsored €2,000 in prize money for the Mare Of The Future class.

The second class supported by the IHB at the Galway Show was the Irish Shows Association All Ireland Irish Draught Filly Foal Championship. There were strong entries on the day, where 17 fillies that had qualified for this final turned out to compete. The IHB offered premiums of €150 to all the fillies who competed in this final.
