Irish Horse Board Supporting the Midland Connemara Pony Breeders Show 2006

The IHB are proud to sponsor the Future Performance Connemara Pony Class:

A new class this year is the Future Performance Connemara Pony Class for ponies of four years old and upwards. This class combines a simple dressage test, conformation assessment, and finally a course of about fourteen fences, to be jumped over a derby type track of 90/100cm in height. The course offers banks, walls, several drops and logs. The track, built by Sam Deverell, will include combinations and related distances, and the competition is sure to attract a great deal of notice from owners of performance Connemara Ponies. This class is unique among performance classes for Connemara Ponies, and is the only competition of its kind in Ireland at present

The IHB will be offering a substantial prize fund of €1,800. In addition, €250 worth of Breeders Prizes will be on offer. IHB rugs will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place
