Ireland Land the Silver Medal at the Children’s European Championships
The Irish team competing at the Children’s European Championships have won the silver medal in the Nations Cup. The team, comprised of Michael Duffy, Edward Doyle Jnr, Jack Dodd and Jordan Coyle, finished on a score of just four faults after two rounds. The team from Great Britain held the lead on one fault and after a tough jump off, the Irish team beat both Italy and Portugal to clinch the silver medal position.
These Championships are confined to children aged 14 and under and all competitors ride horses rather than ponies. The Irish Horse Board were delighted to support the Irish Children’s Team by providing team outfits for both the horses and the riders. The IHB would like to congratulate the Irish Children's Team on their tremendous result.
