Irish Horse Board Ballindenisk World Cup Qualifier 2007

The Irish Horse Board were proud to be title sponsors of this year’s Irish Horse Board Ballindenisk World Cup Qualifier, which took place from 20th to 22nd April.

The IHB sponsored this World Cup Qualifier, offering €20,000 in prize money with €10,000 being awarded to the winner of the CIC***W. Great Britain's Heidi Woodhead and her mount The Biz were victorious and received their first place award from IHB Chairman, Joe Walsh. Also on offer from the IHB, were breeders' prizes of €400 for the highest placed Irish Sport Horse in each of the four classes.

Irish Sport Horses dominated the results in all four levels. In the CIC***W, Michael Ryan (Irl) and Old Road (ISH) finished in second place. The CIC** saw victory for Innishannon On Air (ISH) and Louise Bloomer (Irl), while in the CIC* Fraser Duffy (Gbr) finished in second place with First Mate (ISH). Luke Drea (Irl) and Avoca Feile (ISH) were second in the CCI*.
