Irish Horse Board Dartfield International Horse Trials 2nd - 6th June

The Irish Horse Board is delighted to announce the sponsorship of the International Horse Trials which will be held at Dartfield next weekend.

This year’s event sees a host of international riders including Rodney Powell, Tiny Clapham, Nigel Taylor, Mary King from Great Britain all travelling from across the water to take part in the CCI**. They will contend with Ireland’s Olympians Sue Shortt, Michael Ryan, Eric Smiley, Niall Griffin and other top riders for the generous prize money on offer.

As well as involvement in the overall sponsorship of the event the Irish Horse Board is also sponsoring the CCI* event. An additional prize fund of almost €3,000 for the highest placed Irish Sport Horses in the CCI** & CCI* is also on offer from the Irish Horse Board. Competition is sure to be intense with half the entries in these classes eligible for these prizes.

Additional attractions, including the ever popular Hunt Chase, will take place over the course of the weekend. Admission into the event is only €10 for adults, €5 for OAPs and free for children under 12 years of age. So come along and witness what promises to be an action packed weekend for the whole family.
