Premier Series Grand Prix at Mullingar International
The Irish Sport Horse Studbook were delighted to support the Premier Series Grand Prix at Mullingar International last weekend. A prize fund of €1,000 was on offer, with €500 for the owner and €500 for the breeder of the highest placed Irish Sport Horse.Winning this prize and the Mullingar Premier Series Grand Prix was Merlin’s Magic (ISH), ridden by Francis Connors, one of only two double clears in the class. After the Grand Prix Francis said, “I’m thrilled with the win. Because of the rain earlier I took the safe option when following Clem’s clear, but it paid off nevertheless. Having this great horse is really keeping me in contention for the series.”
The next leg in the series takes place at Omagh Show on Saturday 5th July. Results and breeding are detailed below.
