Ballybolger Bushman ridden by Sam Watson takes 4th at the Young Rider Europeans

The Irish Sport Horse Ballybolger Bushman, ridden by Sam Watson for Ireland finished an impressive 4th at the Young Rider Europeans at Pardubice over the weekend. The seven year old gelding by Puissance out of a mare by Horos (TB) was bred by his father John Watson.

Ballybolger Bushman finished on a score of 55 penalties which was .4 behind the bronze medallist and .9 behind the silver medallist.

Ireland finished 7th in the Team competition. Joining Ballybolger Bushman on the team was Flogas Randy (ISH) ridden by Sharon Reilly, Kildalton Solero (ISH) ridden by Sarah Ponsonby and Only Millie (ISH) ridden by Louise Coleman.
