Holland’s Roelof Bril and Calover (ISH) placed second in the Portimao Grand Prix, taking home in excess of €10,000 in prize money. At the same venue, Philip Spivey (Gbr) and Nenagh (ISH) racked up placings in three classes.

In Rotterdam, Captain David O’Brien (Irl) and Kiltoom (ISH) were placed in two classes. While in Drammen, Captain Shane Carey (Irl) and Shane Breen (Irl) were rarely out of the prize givings. Captain Shane Carey (Irl) took the 1m40 Men’s class with Cashla Bay (ISH) and Shane Breen (Irl) was victorious in the €20,000 Speed Derby with Dorada (ISH)

On the eventing circuit, Irish Sport Horses featured in the line up at Burgie International Horse Trials. In the CCI 2* Nicola Wilson (Gbr) finished in second place with Ballyengland Rebel (ISH). Best of the Irish was Joseph Murphy (Irl) with Electric Cruise (ISH). The competition also say seasoned campaigner Ballincoola (ISH) take eighth with Fergus Payne (Gbr).
