FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses
Lanaken, Belgium, 14th to 17th September 2006

Selection procedures for Lanaken:

• The leading horse of each age from the first 5 IHB showjumping classes
• The top two eligible horses from the RDS
• The highest placed eligible horse from Millstreet
• One horse to be selected on the basis of performance in the IHB classes, the RDS and Millstreet

Lanaken Selection – IHB Classes:
Based on the results of the 5 year old & 6/7 year old showjumping classes at Punchestown, Galway County, Ballina, Millstreet & Boswell, the following horses have been selected for inclusion in the Lanaken team:

• 5 year old – Gail White (ISH) & Richard Moloney
• 6 year old – Badgerhill Cruise (ISH) & Clem McMahon
• 7 year old – Cavalier Andy (ISH) & Lucy Buchanan

To promote top young Irish Sport Horses competing on this world stage, very significant prize money will be on offer from the Irish Horse Board for horses that finish in the top ten in the finals of the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, Lanaken, Belgium

Prize Fund Available:

• 1st place - €10,000
• 2nd place - €9,000
• 3rd place - €8,000
• 4th place - €7,000
• 5th place - €6,000
• 6th place - €5,000
• 7th place - €4,000
• 8th place - €3,000
• 9th place - €2,000
• 10th place - €1,000

Eligiblity Criteria:
Horses with the breed codes ISH, RID or ID that are registered in the IHR by a stallion approved in the Main Studbook of the IHR, and with sire and dam breeding documented on the passport, are eligible for these classes
