IHB Statement - Karen Rodgers

The Board and staff of the Irish Horse Board were shocked to hear of the tragic death of Karen Rodgers, who was killed on Sunday while competing cross country at Ballindenisk.

Karen has long been inolved in the equestrian industry and was a close colleague and friend of those in the Irish Horse Board. Nicholas Finnerty, Director General of the IHB and Breeding Manager of Horse Sport Ireland, said, "We were deeply shocked to hear of Karen's tragic death. On behalf of the Board and staff of the IHB, I would like to express our deepest sympathies to all Karen's family and friends. Our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time."
