Ireland Win the 4* Nations Cup in Poland

The Irish showjumping team have further advanced their lead in the 4* League by winning the Polish Nations Cup. The team, consisting of Captain Shane Carey & Killossery (ISH), Ryan Crumley & Baltimore, Cian O’Connor & Complete and Commandant Gerry Flynn & Mo Chroi (ISH), fought hard for their victory.

After the two rounds had been jumped the Irish and the Danish were tied for the lead, forcing a jump off. Cian O’Connor and Complete were selected to jump off and, despite having one fence down, beat the Danish team by one time fault.

This superb win was also a very important one as it now moves Ireland’s lead to 40 points, 11.5 points ahead of Italy who are lying in second place.
