Irish Horse Board and Dressage Ireland Seminars

With Marion Hughes, Conrad Schumacher and William Micklem

The IHB in conjunction with Dressage Ireland are holding a number of seminars for ‘Breeders and Producers of Young Horses’ throughout the country.

Speakers include Marion Hughes, Olympic showjuming team rider and producer of competition horses, Conrad Schumacher, former National Trainer of multi-medal winning Dutch Dressage Team, and William Micklem, international coach, author and equestrian consultant. With such high profile speakers these seminars provide a unique opportunity to listen to the top trainers from showjumping, dressage and horse trials explain their priorities and show the common ground between these disciplines.

The first of these seminars got underway on Friday the 4th November at Clonshire Equestrian Centre and proved to be a resounding success with approximately 250 people in attendance.

These seminars include discussions and practical demonstrations and people from all ages and disciplines are welcome.

The next of these seminars will take place on Friday the 18th November at Creagh Equestrian Centre, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway at 7.00pm to 10.30pm. Other venues include Kildalton College, Piltown, Co Kilkenny on the 24th of November and Cavan Equestrian Centre, Co Cavan on the 7th of December.
