Irish Horse Board Presentation to Lucy Buchanan

A presentation was made by Mr. Joe Walsh, Chairman of the Irish Horse Board, to Lucy Buchanan for her achievements at the recent FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, Lanaken, Belgium. The presentation took place on the 10th October at the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, prior to the IHB AGM.

A new incentive was introduced by the Irish Horse Board this year offering very significant prize money to horses, representing the Irish Sport Horse Studbook, that finish in the top ten in the prestigious FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, Lanaken. Following Lucy Buchanan and Cavalier Andy’s impressive 4th placing in the 7 Year Old Final the Irish Horse Board were pleased to present her with a cheque for €7,000.

Lucy Buchanan also accepted a trophy on behalf of Linda Courtney, breeder of Cavalier Andy (ISH).
