Irish Sport Horse Skillnet

The Irish Horse Board has a responsibility for training and education in the Irish sport horse industry. Recently published IHB research has highlighted the need to put a greater emphasis on the training and education of breeders.

The Irish Horse Board is currently in the process of developing an application for funding in order to develop a training network for breeders. Members of the training network will be able to avail of training in a wide variety of areas such as breeding, genetics, nutrition, veterinary issues etc.

Any individuals interested in becoming a member of this training network for breeders are asked to complete a short questionnaire (click on the link below). This will assist us in identifying the topics/areas that breeders require training in.
