The Irish Sport Horse Studbook finished in second place at the FEI World Championships for Young Eventing Horses, which took place at Le Lion d’Angers from 16^th to 19^th October. In the 6 year old section, Pippa Funnell (Gbr) finished in second place with Billy Landretti (ISH), only 0.30 points behind the winner William Fox-Pitt (Gbr). In the same section, Sarah Ennis (Irl) and Sugar Brown Babe (ISH) finished in twelfth place. In the 7 year old section, Polly Stockton (Gbr) and Westwood Mariner (ISH) finished in fourth place, while Andrew Nicholson (Nzl) and Mr Cruise Control (ISH) finished in eleventh place.

On the showjumping circuit, John Whitaker (Gbr) and Casino (ISH) were placed in several classes at the Global Champions Tour Final in Sao Paulo. In St Lo, France, Captain Shane Carey (Irl) and River Foyle (ISH) were victorious in the Grand Prix Qualifier, taking home their share of the €18,300 prize fund.
