Irish Sport Horses had a successful weekend on both the showjumping and eventing circuits. In Goteborg, Robert Whitaker (Gbr) and Casino (ISH) took the €30,000 1m50 class. While in Villeneuve Loubet fellow British rider, Di Lampard, and the Cruising gelding, Master Cruise (ISH), finished fourth in the Grand Prix class.

On the Sunshine Tour, Paul O’Shea (Irl) rode Paul Clarke’s stallion, Shannondale Macalla (ISH), to victory in the €19,700 1m45 class. In California, Flexible (ISH) and Rich Fellers (USA) enjoyed another successful week, finishing seventh in the $25,000 1m45 Grand Prix and sixth in the $50,000 FEI World Cup Grand Prix.

On the eventing circuit, Portugal’s Duarte Seabra, who is based in Ireland with Carol Gee, finished in eight place with Fernhill Gloster Rebel (ISH) in the CIC 2* at Herdade Vale Sabroso. In the same event, Patricia Ryan (Irl) finished in twentieth position with Ballylynch Skyport (ISH). Patricia’s husband, Michael Ryan (Irl), also had a successful weekend, finishing in third place in the CIC 1* with Annestown Emperor (ISH).
