Mo Chroi (ISH) & Commandant Gerry Flynn Win the Dublin Grand Prix

Mo Chroi (ISH) and Commandant Gerry Flynn (Irl) stormed to victory in the Longines Dublin Grand Prix at the Dublin Horse Show last Sunday. The Dublin Grand Prix, considered the event’s premier individual class, was last won by an Irish rider when Cameron Hanley took the class in 2000. Flynn and the superb Irish Sport Horse mare Mo Chroi were one of only two combinations to produce double clear rounds in this prestigious €125,000 class.

Flynn’s victory added to a great week for the Army Equitation School, with Captain Shane Carey also enjoying considerable success over the week. Flynn with Mo Chroi (ISH) and Carey with River Foyle (ISH), produced the best two rounds for the Irish team that finished a very credible joint third in the Irish Samsung Nations Cup 5* Superleague class.
