Promotion of Irish Sport Horses
Marketing & Promotion
The Irish Sport Horse industry makes a hugely important contribution to the economy and to the social fabric of many Irish communities. The Irish Sport Horse industry is a growing industry and huge potential exists to develop markets both at home and abroad.
In order to fully exploit the potential of the industry, the Irish Horse Board has allocated substantial resources and funding to the breeding, promotion and marketing of our sport horses. In 2007, in addition to promoting the Irish horse at major shows abroad, the IHB dedicated substantial funding towards supporting Irish Sport Horses competing on home ground.
